JOYCE ANN BLENTLINGER

Joyce Ann Blentlinger, 83, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Leeland of Laurel Run in Waynesboro, PA.

Born September 9, 1940, in Nashville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Doyle F. McElhiney and Martha L. (Potts) McElhiney.

Joyce attended Plymouth High School; she went on to obtain her Real Estate License in 1979. She was the broker and owner of Auction Plus Realty and finished her career at Kelly Real Estate Professionals.

Joyce was a member of Frederick Community Church for many years, and a member of the Black Rock Bible Church for the last 8 years.

Mom always loved to spend time with her family; it was the focus of her life!

Joyce is survived by her sons, Dale Nesbitt and wife Lisa, Guy Nesbitt and wife Charmane, daughter, Carrie Blackburn, daughters-in-laws, Yvonne and Michelle, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Nathan, Bradley, Casey, Carter, Cadyn, Kaylee, Justin, Kendall, Aaron, Denielle, Edric, Gavin, Ryan, Holli, Isaac, Ava, Ivan, Troy, Heather, Serena, Mckayla, Ava, Haley, Brinley, Troy Jr., David, Meredith, Jude, Julia, Clara, Jason, Jennfier, Gabriel, Joshua, Stephen, Kerri, Oliver, Lincoln, Jocelyn, Phillip. Matthew, Noelle, Giovanni, Esvin, Katherine, Isaiah, Joyce, Craig, Daniela, and Luca, sister, Barbara McElhiney, brother, Michael McElhiney and wife Shelly, and good friend, Susan Monroe.

In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by late husbands, Alton G. Nesbitt and William Blentlinger Jr., son, Pastor Craig N. Nesbitt, sister, Barbara McElhiney, and grandson, Joshua Nesbitt.

A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Black Rock Church, 9646 Crystal Falls Dr. Hagerstown, MD 21740, officiated by Pastor Guy Nesbitt, with a Graveside service to follow at Rest Haven Cemetery, Frederick, MD, at 2:30 pm.

Family will receive friends on Monday, February 5, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 pm at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, 12525 Bradbury Ave, Smithsburg, MD.
