James Franklin Wray, Jr.

James F. Wray, Jr., 91, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation and wellness center in Chambersburg, PA. Born April 2, 1930 in Gulfport, MS, he was the son of the late James F. Wray, Sr. and Lucie Beatrice (Lampton) Wray. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth A. Wray in 2004. They were married in 1957. He is a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the United States Navy. James is a retired firefighter who served the District of Columbia. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. James is survived by his son, Andrew P. Wray and wife Jennifer of Waynesboro, PA, brother-in-law, Richard E. Cross of Melbourne, FL, and nephew, Keith Cross and Wife Nancy and their children, Katie and Michelle all of Ashburn, VA. Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
