Jane Flora (Fellows) Putman

Jane F. Putman, 84, of Jefferson, MD, and formerly of Sabillasville, MD, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019 at her home. Born Thursday, May 30, 1935 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Edward Vernon Fellows and Alda Louise (Forrest) Fellows. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Putman. She retired from Frederick Memorial Hospital in 2011 after 28 years of service. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and spending time with her family. Jane is survived by son, Donald Biser, Sr. and wife Diane, daughter, Doris Boyer, sister, Mary, brother, Ed, grandchildren, Donald Biser, Jr. and wife Christy, Christopher Biser, Matthew Biser and wife Betty Sutton, Anna Ruppert and husband Matthew, Kevin Boyer and Eddie Boyer and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her canine companion, Melody. She was preceded in death by six siblings, Janet, Sarah, George, Joan, Gilson and Joyce. Services will be held Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 11:00am at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, with Pastor Deana McKendrick officiating.
