Jeffrey Alan Cosens, Jr.

Jeffrey Alan Cosens, Jr., 45, of Smithsburg, MD, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Hospice of Washington County Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD. Born October 13, 1975, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Kathy Sue (Hartle) Cosens and the late Jeffrey Alan “Shorty” Cosens, Sr. He was a graduated of Boonsboro High School class of 1993. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister Cheryl Cosens, his wife Lisa Cosens and stepchildren James Whipp of Smithsburg, Kayla Whipp of Greencastle, and Brittany McCaw of Waynesboro. He is also survived by maternal grandmother Shirley Hartle of Hagerstown, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2021, from 7-9pm at J.L.
