Jeffrey Lynn Franklin

Jeffrey Lynn Franklin, 59, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown. Born December 31, 1962, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Paul Frederick Franklin and Roberta Lee (Grove) Franklin. He attended Smithsburg High School. Jeff was a huge L.A. Rams fan, loved to watch NASCAR and was an avid gamer. He was employed by the Washington County Health Department as a maintenance mechanic. Jeff is survived by his wife of 27 years, Tammy Lynn (Ridenour) Franklin who he married February 14, 1995, one son, Jeffrey L. Franklin II and wife Eliana, one daughter, Ashley K. Franklin and companion Kyle, grandchildren, Oliver Stambaugh, Khaleesi Franklin and Aiyana Franklin, brothers, Paul “Doug” Franklin and wife Marlene, Dan Franklin and Jim Franklin and wife Kristi, father-in-law, V. Dale Ridenour, brother-in-law, Greg Harman and wife Yolla, his loving fur babies, Quinn and Lily, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by infant son, Jeremy Franklin, infant stepdaughter, Jessica Bachtell, infant brother, Robert Franklin and mother-in-law, B. June Ridenour. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 11:00am at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, with Alan Robinson officiating. Burial will be private and at a later date.
