Jessica Jean Monroe

Jessica Jean Monroe, 38, of Keymar, MD passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025.

Born on January 14, 1987 in Rockville, MD, she was the daughter of Jennifer Marie (Muse) and John Douglas Monroe.

She was preceded in death by  Grandparents Clarence Muse Sr., Maryann and John E. Monroe, Sr.; Great Grandfather Earl and a very special Great Grandmother Dorothy "Nanny" Boyd.

Jessica graduated from Brunswick High School, class of 2005.

Jessica was a beautiful soul who was taken from us way too soon.  She had an amazing personality, loved animals, gardening and being around the people she cared about. Jessica's goal was to pursue a career in Peer Counseling so she could help others thru their addiction.

She is survived by 3 Children; Adrian and Cameron Steed, and Melienna Monroe; 2 Siblings Justine Lucas-Monroe (Sister); Jordan Monroe (Brother); Grandmother and Step-Grandfather, Barbara and David Wayne; 2 Nieces, 4 Nephews, several Aunts and Uncles, with a special connection to her Aunt Kinder and Uncle William Scheetz.

Services will be private with a Celebration of Life being planned at a later date.
