Joann Marie (Dewey) Barrett, 73, of Hedgesville, WV, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at her home surrounded by loving family.

Born on September 13, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Margaret (Anderson) and Frank Dewey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 children; David Lee Barrett, Jr., Marsha Ann Barrett, and Douglas Scott Barrett.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, David Lee Barrett; Daughter, Rebecca (Barrett) McDonald; 2 Grandchildren, Roger and Cortney McDonald; 8 Great Grandchildren; Goddaughter, Romona Williams; and Special Niece Kim Burns.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
