Joanne Patricia Akers

Joanne Patricia Akers, age 70, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Autumn Lake Healthcare in Walkersville MD, due to complications of COVID-19. She was born in Leesburg VA on April 16, 1953, to Howard Clarence Akers and Bertha Estelle Righter Akers. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mary Jane Akers and was the last of her immediate family. The family respectfully requests that any donations be made to Frederick County Humane Society at 1786 N. Market St., Frederick MD 21701. There will be no visitation or service.
