John Harrison Meinhardt

John Harrison Meinhardt, 73, of Charles Town, WV, passed away suddenly on April 30, 2021. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on April 24, 1948, to the late Jack Meinhardt & Inez Flanagan Meinhardt, stepfather Harry Angelo. John was retired from Bell Atlantic (Verizon) telephone company. John is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mavourneen Patricia (Pat), his daughter Erin Haley and husband Jason, Front Royal, VA, his grandson Tristan Meinhardt, WV, his sisters Antoinette Lawrence and Jean Hawley-Vizvary, Pittsburgh, Pa, his cousin, whom John considered a brother, Donald Angelo, Pittsburg, Pa, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son James Meinhardt, and two sisters, Marlene Angelo, and Diane Hohman. Funeral services are private. The family will receive friends at the VFW Post 3522, 116 E.
