Julie Anna (Moran) McClain

Julie Anna (Moran) McClain, 67, of Cascade, MD, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, April 16, 2020. Born December 21, 1952 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Robert Moran and Virginia Elizabeth (Shaffer) Shockey. She was employed by Victor Cullen Center and Frederick Scott Key Center for 29 years. Julie loved all of her clients like family at both jobs. Julie is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, David L. McClain, sisters, Phyllis L. Franke of Waynesboro, PA, and Charlene Straughn of Zephyr Hills, FL, stepmother, Betty J. Moran of Chambersburg, PA, one niece, Carmen, five nephews, Michael, Steve, Jimmy, Chris and Damion, six great-nieces, two great-nephews, and many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her only son and the love of her life, Jonathan R. McClain. Services will be announced at a later date. The family would like to send a special thanks to the wonderful caregivers and Hospice of Washington County for the care, kindness and love they provided.
