KATHY RAE (SNYDER) GEER

Kathy Rae (Snyder) Geer, 76, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at her home, surrounded by loving family.

Born on February 10, 1949, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Catherine E. (Bowers) and Frances E. Snyder.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Husband of 26 years, Stephen Geer; Sisters, Joyce Mairs and Connie Sutherland; and Brother, Lee F. Snyder.

Kathy graduated from North Hagerstown High School, class of 1967.

Kathy retired as a Facilities Administrator for Verizon after 40 years of service.

Kathy was a member of First Christian Church, Hagerstown, MD and CWA Local 2105, Williamsport, MD.

She is survived by her Son, Nathan M. Geer of Smithsburg, MD; Brother, Thomas S. Snyder of Lake Charles, Louisiana; Sister, Bonnie S. Fouke of Hagerstown, MD; and many Nieces and Nephews.

Her family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice nurses, Stephanie & Mary and caregivers, Marcia & Melissa

A memorial service will be held Friday, April 25, 2025, at 1 PM at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, 12525 Bradbury Ave. Smithsburg, MD 21783.

Family will receive friends one hour prior.
