KELLY RENEE SIGEL-BARNES

Kelly Renee’ Sigel-Barnes, passed peacefully into eternal life supported with

her family's love and prayers on Friday, May 2, 2025.

Kelly was born February 6, 1976, in Hagerstown, MD to Thomas Ellsworth Smith and Shirley Lee Smith. Surviving is her husband, Jayme Anthony Barnes of 12 years, married on October 26, 2013, and daughter, Madison McKinley Sigel, 23 of Greencastle, PA.

Kelly was preceded in death by her dad, Thomas Ellsworth Smith.

Kelly lived in Greencastle, PA along with her husband Jayme and her beloved fur babies, Ripp and Ginger. She cherished her daughter Madison and all the time they spent together. She loved the outdoors enjoying hunting deer, bear, and mushrooms with her husband Jayme as well as fishing or just hanging out with her family at her mom’s house. Kelly was deeply loved by her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband Jayme and daughter Madison, Kelly is survived by her mom, Shirley Lee Pryor of Smithsburg, MD, sisters Sherry Rhodes, husband Kenny Rhodes of Mt. Airy, MD and Donna Linton of Frederick, MD and brother Thomas Ellsworth Smith II and Monica Smith of Martinsburg, WV.

She is also survived by nephews and nieces, Richard Lewis and Sera Lewis, (great-nephew Rhett) of Hagerstown, MD, Lakin Wolfe, (great-nephews Evan, Justyce and Alijah and great-niece Mia) of Frederick, MD and Thomas Smith and Alexa Smith (great-nephews Beckham and Emmit) of Martinsburg, WV.

There will be no services per Kelly’s wishes. Because of Kelly’s love of Pit Bulls, please send any memorials to your local ASPCA or Pit Bull rescues or shelters.
