Kenneth "Sonny" Nathaniel Bolt, 93, of Boonsboro, MD, passed away peacefully, Monday, April 8, 2024, at Fahrney-Keedy Nursing Home, Boonsboro, surrounded by loving family.
Born on April 5, 1931, in Round Hill, VA, he was the son of the late Dora Agnes (Legg) and Obie Dison Bolt.
Kenneth served in the U.S. Navy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Payne; and Brother, James Bolt.
Kenneth worked as a mechanic and school bus driver for Frederick County Public Schools until 2020.
Kenneth was a member of Brownsville Church of the Brethren, where he served as an usher for decades. He was also a member of Rohrersville Ruritan since joining sometime in the 1950s.
He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Esther (Haines) Bolt; Many Nieces and Nephews, Grand Nieces and Nephews and Great Grand Nieces and Nephews; a sister, Frances Johnson; and special family, Lori and Dave, and Haley and Connor Dagenhart.
A memorial/celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 26, 2024, at the Brownsville Church of the Brethren.
