Katherine Faye (Gifft) Canfield

Katherine Faye Canfield, 75, of Sharpsburg, MD, passed away Monday, September 19, 2022, at Sterling Care at South Mountain in Boonsboro, MD. Born October 20, 1946, in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Eugene M. Gifft and Arelda (Harding) Gifft. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Canfield. She was an avid animal lover and a wonderful homemaker. Katherine is survived by son, Scott Canfield and wife Andrea, granddaughter, Nicole Canfield and companion Jason Griffith, great-grandson, Barrett Griffith, sisters-in-law, Darlene Albritton, Linda Canfield and Mary Canfield and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Gifft and Eugene Gifft. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Katherine Canfield to the Sharpsburg Emergency Medical Service at P.O. Box 307, Sharpsburg, MD 21782. Arrangements were made by J.L.
