Khristi is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, James “Jamie” Waters. Married on September 17, 1994, they were each other’s one and only love and best friend.
She is also survived by her son, Nickolas “Nick” Waters, and his girlfriend, Jordan; her father, Gregory Popp; her sister, Kaci Tiller, and her family; her father-in-law, Rand Knight; her mother-in-law, Wanda Knight; her brother-in-law, Justin Knight; and her nieces, Camryn Knight and Riley Knight.

Khristi was a sweet and loving person who cared deeply for her family and friends. You could usually find her either at home or by the river with loved ones, including her beloved dog, Raven, and cat, Percy. She enjoyed gardening and watching the deer in the yard with her husband. Khristi loved cooking and baking, especially her famous dinner rolls—always making sure to bake extra for her son, Nick. She loved shopping and spent many weekends laughing and relaxing on the patio with her husband, Jamie, and their best friends, Reni and Shawn Martin, and Allyson and Brian Mason.
She attended Boonsboro High School, Class of 1991, and earned a degree in criminal law from Frederick Community College. She was employed by Fannie Mae for 20 years.
