Kitty Ann (Young) Bequeath

Kitty Ann Bequeath, 66, of Falling Waters, WV, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024 at Berkeley Medical Center, Martinsburg, WV, surrounded by loving family.

Born on July 7, 1958 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Polly (Gardenhour) and Lester Young.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a Sister, Betty Biller.

Kitty graduated from Waynesboro Area Senior High School.

Kitty worked as a mail clerk in Frederick, MD, then a Letter Carrier in Hagerstown, MD for the U.S. Postal Service for 22 years, until her retirement in 2014.

Kitty enjoyed reading, watching old movies, cooking, being outside and doing yardwork. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and babysitting her Grand fur baby, Lily.

She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Terry C. Bequeath; Daughter, Melissa Hewitt and husband, Joseph of Falling Waters, WV; Sister, Gwen Phillips (Donald Minnich); and Brothers, Steve Young, Sr. (Wilma) and Lester Young, Jr., all of Waynesboro, PA; and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
