Obituary
Leon Jean-Claude Paul, 71, of Hagerstown, passed away, Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Meritus Medical Center.
Born August 9, 1951, in Haiti, he was the son of the late Vernet and Sulfida (Dolne) Paul.
Leon retired from Food Lion Distribution Center in Greencastle, PA and previously owned and operated his own clothing store in Haiti. He was a member of the First Haitian Church of Nazarene.
Leon is survived by his wife, Rosemane Renee Paul; two daughters, Miverlie Paul and Rosenid Paul; six sons, Claudy Paul, Yves Paul, Jean Rony Paul, Smith Paul, Dieubon Paul and Jean Alex Paul; grandchildren, Tatiana Paul, Natalia Paul, Smith Paul, Jr., Alonzoe Leon Paul, Jayden Diuby Paul, Willckens Jean Isidor, Miguerlie Lenise Isidor, Myralie Isalette Wyche, Jean Alex Paul Jr., Xavier Deon Paul,
Ezekiel Richardo Paul, Kaedyn paul Slayjine Paul, Stevenson Paul, Yves Bastien Paul, Cédric Dorian Paul Stephanie Paul; three sisters, Odette Paul, Syfie Paul, and Edline Paul; one brother, Pastor Lubin Paul; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Jeanne Paul, Anide Paul, and Clotide Paul; and two brothers, Franklin Paul and Franko Paul.
Funeral services will be held on May 20, 2023, at Hagerstown Church of the Nazarene, 141 N. Edgewood Dr., Hagerstown, at 12:00 pm, officiated by Pastor Jack Edward. Burial will follow at Smithsburg, Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, prior to Funeral Service.
