Linda Carole (Draper) Graybill, "MA", 78, of Cavetown, MD, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.
Born May 16, 1946, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Carroll Woodrow Draper and Mary Avonne (Younker) Draper.
She attended Smithsburg High School.
She was employed at Ivy Hill Farm, Smithsburg, MD, and loved volunteering during their annual farm festival every fall.
Linda enjoyed going to Sunday School and Church. She loved to play Softball; she faithfully attended her family members' sporting events and was the professional family babysitter.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Johnny Kretsinger Graybill whom she married December 1, 1962, daughter, Melinda "Mindie" Carole (Graybill) Conway (Dave), sons, Ronald "Ronnie" Walter Graybill (Laura), and John Franklin Graybill (Teresa), grandchildren, Andrea "Andi" Nichole Graybill (Robert), Evan Thomas Graybill (Taylor), Amanda "Mandie" Carole (Conway) Trevey (Kevin), Joshua David Conway (Mollie), Rachel Grace (Graybill) Gonzalez (Luis) and Zachariah James Graybill (Kaitlyn), great-grandchildren, Byron Matthew Trevey, Baylee Carole Trevey, Bentley Alexander Graybill, Oliver James Graybill, Leo Olyn Graybill, Cillian Faith Conway, Lorelai Ann Graybill, and Luna Grace Gonzalez, and numerous sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Services will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 11:00am at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, with Rev. Mark Summer officiating. Burial will be in Ringgold Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday, November 18, 2024, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank the medical staff at Meritus who worked tirelessly to provide our mom with exceptional care and for the love and unwavering dedication in every interaction. We will be forever grateful.
