Leon C. Moser, 80, of Boonsboro, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Coffman Nursing Home.
Born on July 9, 1940 in Boonsboro, MD., he was the son of the late Calvin L. and Edith (Babington) Moser.
Leon retired in 2000 as a carpenter for United Brotherhood of Carpenters Union.
He enjoyed fishing in Ocean City and Chincoteague Island and taking his boat “Miss Sandbar” to Chesapeake Bay.
Leon is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary (Hutzell) Moser, daughter , Tammy Beachley and husband Scott, three grandchildren, Audreyona Beachley and friend Jonathan Leatherman, Lionel Moser Jr. and friend Nikki Mace, and Evan Moser and fiance’ Amber Waldron. Three sisters, Patricia Kline, Lorrena Wyand and husband Chester, Roxanne Stevens, and sister-in-law Carolyn Moser-Smith.
He was preceded in death by son , Lionel Moser, brother, Denny Moser, three sisters, Irene Huffer, Geraldine McAllister, and Doris Munson, brother-in-laws, Arthur Huffer, Allen McAllister, Meredith Kline, and Harry Stevenson.
A celebration of life will be private. Arrangements were made by J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD. and online condolences can be offered at www.jldavisfh.com
