Lisa Marie (Hull) Shafer

Lisa Marie Shafer, 64, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown. Born November 4, 1956, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Robert Bruce Hull and Anna Marie (Hubble) Hull. Lisa was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Gregory Lynn Shafer who passed away June 21, 2016. They were married January 28, 1989. She was a graduate of South Hagerstown High School class of 1974. She retired from the Washington County Board of Education where she worked in the dietary department. Lisa is survived by son, Matthew Shafer and companion Sarah Ganassa, daughter, Larrisa Ann Shafer, sister, Laura Trumpower and husband Dean, aunt, Mary Ellen Hartinger, and cousins, Theresa Harris and husband Gene, Susan Granata and husband Tom, Michael Harris and Olivia Finke. She was preceded in death by uncle, Joseph Hartinger and cousin, Joey Hartinger. The family wishes to send a special thanks to Meritus Home Health and Dr. Jeffrey Hurwitz for the care given to Lisa. Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
