Lois J. (Graff) Crouse, 72, of Waynesboro, PA, ended her battle with cancer and passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on Wednesday, January 5, 2022.
Born on July 8, 1949, in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of Laura M. (Sites) Doyle and the late Edward H. Graff.
She attended Fairfield High School and later completed her GED.
She and her husband of over 42 years, Robert A. Crouse were married on May 12, 1979, in the United Methodist Church, Waynesboro.
She was employed at Landis Machine Company, Waynesboro for many years then later retired from the Waynesboro Hospital, Waynesboro.
She was an active member of the Salem Church, Waynesboro, and the Joe Stickell American Legion Post #15.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, always putting her family first. She loved to have fun and spend time with her family, enjoying trips to the beach, going on cruises, shopping, and playing bingo. She treasured and will miss her two loving cats.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother Laura M. (Sites) Doyle, three children, D. Ray Fair, Jr. (Lisa), Robert “Chuck” A. Crouse, Jr. and companion Sandy Grisson, Laurie H. (Fair) Muck and companion Tom Henicle, all of Waynesboro, three grandchildren Casey R. (Fair) Souders (Aaron), Logan M. Fair (Rachel) both from Waynesboro, Nicole D. (Crouse) Davis (Winston) of Brownsville, TN, R. Kyle Myers (Heather) and Christina S. Myers and companion Greg Eslinger, both of Chambersburg, PA, great grandchildren, Cadence, Caeley, Cara, Mack, Iris, Kayla, Karlei, Madaline,
Jack, Olivia and Lincoln, stepsisters, Georgia Martin, Silver Spring, MD and Barbara Glasco, Kensington, MD, several nieces and nephews, and some very close friends.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister Louise I. (Graff) Schultz, her brother Edward H. Graff, Jr., and stepfather Ray B. Doyle.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 P.M., on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Salem Church, 4881 Salem Church Road, Waynesboro, PA 17268 with Pastor Lin Smalec officiating. Interment to follow.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Antietam Humane Society, 8513 Lyons Rd., Waynesboro, PA 17268 or SpiriTrust Lutheran® Hospice Benevolence Fund, 2700 Luther Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
