Lois JoAnne (Hildebrand) Houck

Lois J. Houck, 84, left this world to be with her Lord on June 1, 2022. She was born November 3, 1937, to the late Simon H. Hildebrand and Mary E. (Guessford) Hildebrand and extended family Fred and Dorothy Wood. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Houck, brothers, Frank Bussard, Donald Howlett and Woody Guessford, sister, Carolyn Wilhelm, daughter, Lois Haase and grandson, Joshua Weller. Lois is survived by son, James Cooley, Sr. (Rosie), daughter, Jackie Weller (Kevin), grandchildren, Harry Hess, James Cooley, Jr., Johnathan Price, Matthew Price, Brandon Price, and Rosie Nalley, great-grandchildren, Logan, Kaydee, Kaisyn, Chad, Levi and Everly, niece Lois Walling, nephew Dennis Barthlow (Teresa), extended family Peggy Lamer, the Wolff family and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 1:00pm at Riverview Cemetery in Charlottesville, VA. Arrangements were made by J.L.
