Louise Catherine (Kendall) Sheedy

Louise Catherine “Lovie” Sheedy, 79, of Boonsboro, MD, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD. Born December 9, 1941, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Carleda and Henry Holtzman. She attended Smithsburg High School. Louise was a homemaker and a loving supportive wife. She enjoyed cooking for others to show her love. She enjoyed landscaping and gardening. She was an accomplished artist and decorator. She loved taking rides through the mountains on the motorcycle and in the convertible. She enjoyed remodeling residences and working to support her husband’s work projects. She loved hot air balloon rides and glider flights, deer and bird watching. She was always there to help others. She traveled extensively in Europe, Caribbean, and South Pacific. Life was Love, Happy and Fun. She is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Daniel M. Sheedy II, daughter, Kathy Rohrer, sons, Daniel Sheedy III and wife Lynne and Pastor Joseph Sheedy and wife Michele, several grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at 10:00am at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, with Pastor Joseph Sheedy officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, PA.
