Lydia Rochelle Kinslow

Lydia Rochelle Kinslow, 50, of Hagerstown, MD, passed peacefully from this world into a life of everlasting love, joy and peace. Even as she battled a sudden onset of cancer, her love, courage, strength, and gratefulness shined bright. She selflessly thought of others, wanting to know how they were doing, and sharing deeply from her heart. In this life, Lydia always offered a helping hand, a listening ear, a friendly smile, a strong bear hug or an honest opinion. For eternity, her love tank will always be full and her heart content. For Lydia, her friends were family. Lydia was without pretense, genuine, the real deal and a treasure to those who knew and loved her. Rarely people like Lydia come along and often they leave too soon. She will be missed, but her love will live in our hearts and memories. Now and forevermore, Lydia is dancing, smiling and singing with great joy. In child-like enthusiasm, she is rejoicing and has no more worries, sorrow, or pain. When things would happen suddenly that she could not explain, she would say, “out of the blue, that’s where Jesus lives” and now that is where she lives too. She has entered fullness of love and eternal rest. Lydia was born January 25, 1971 and was the daughter of Robert Wendell Kinslow, Sr and Roberta Ann (Musser) Kinslow. She is preceded in death by her father, sister, Shawn Othelia, brother, Timothy Darin, and niece, Aubrey Lynn. She is survived by her mother and siblings, Rob, Regina, Lori, Jim, Johanna, Joe, Phil and Anna, and nieces/nephews, Tara, Brett, Bruce, Bernadette, Cally, Colin, Desi, Nick, Hudson, Worth, Caleb, Oliver, Antoinette and (grand-nephew) Eli. The family will celebrate Lydia’s life privately by the spreading of her ashes and tree planting. A celebration of life for friends will be communicated at a future time.
