MARCUS ALEXANDER BURNETT JR.

Marcus Alexander Burnett Jr., 35, of Frederick, MD passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, at the University of Maryland Hospital.

Born on May 10, 1989, in Germany, he was the son of Dawn Marie (Weckerly) and Marcus Alexander Burnett, Sr.

Marcus was preceded in death by his grandmother, Alexis Burnett; aunts, Marcell, Karen, and Vera Burnett; and uncles, Phil and George Burnett.

Marcus loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a music enthusiast, loved to dance, and was a one of kind with a bubbly personality. He was the center of attention, and an all-around beautiful soul. His laughter, smile, and personality will forever be missed.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his Step-Mother, Chantel Burnett, Brothers, Brandon Burnett and wife, Lindsey Chaney, Jordan Burnett, and Austin Marston, all of Hagerstown, MD; Sister, Kayla Burnett of Waynesboro, PA, and Amberlie Burnett of Hagerstown, MD; Nieces, Indigo "Bee," Lena, Ava and Gia; Nephews, Breese, Carl, Landon, Isaiah, and Beau; Numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins, and his special fur "Son," Munch.

A Funeral will be held Friday, March 14, 2025, at 7 PM at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, 12525 Bradbury Ave. Smithsburg, MD 21783 with Pastor Bobby Burnett officiating.

Family will receive friends two hours prior for visitation.

Family and friends are encouraged to send flowers and make donations to the funeral home to help offset funeral costs.
