Marie Aline Lorraine LeBlanc, of Smithsburg, Maryland, passed away peacefully at the age of 88.
Born on December 27, 1937, in Hartford, Connecticut, Marie lived a life centered on family, faith, friendship, and love. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose kindness and caring spirit touched all who knew her.
Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norman LeBlanc, who passed away in April 2022, and by her cherished granddaughter, Valerie Magnan.
She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Howarth and Monique Cuevas and her husband, Luis Cuevas. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Vanesa Moser and husband Tyler, Alex Cuevas and wife Alejandra, Jaimie Cuevas, Gerard Magnan, and Robert Magnan, as well as several great-grandchildren who brought her great joy.
A faithful member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Hagerstown, Marie found comfort and strength in her faith throughout her life. She enjoyed listening to country and bluegrass music, playing cards with friends, crocheting, and spending time with those she loved. Her warm smile, gentle nature, and love of family will be remembered and treasured by all who knew her.
Cremation will take place, and memorial services will be announced at a later date.
Marie's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will miss her deeply and remember her always.
