Mark Alan Frey

Mark Alan Frey, 50, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022. Born July 27, 1971, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Alphred Markwood Frey and Catherine Louise (Herbst) Frey. He was a graduate of Smithsburg High School class of 1989. He was a member of Waynesboro Fish and Game Club, Waynesboro VFW, the NRA, FFA, and 4-H club. He was employed by Columbia Machine Inc., formerly Bikle Manufacturing of Smithsburg. Mark was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, was a tester for Tactacam Trail Cams, planted many food plots as test sights and enjoyed riding his four-wheeler. He loved to spend time with his family and friends during his activities. Mark is survived by his wife, Angie K. (Hamner) Frey, daughter, Stephanie Sirface and husband Greg, grandson, Thatcher Mark Joseph Sirface, sisters, Nancy Frey and Vicky Frye and husband Jim, niece, Carrie Frye, nephew, Hunter Frye, father and mother-in-law, Ron and Judie Hamner, brother-in-law, Ron Hamner, Jr. and many extended family and friends. Services will be held Friday, Jun e 17, 2022, at 10:00am at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, with pastor Chris Barnes and Pastor Jacob Doyle officiating. Casual dress and Mossy Oak camouflage is encouraged. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
