Martin Irving Barr, Jr, 96, of Pondsville, Rd. Smithsburg, MD passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at his home in Smithsburg, MD.
Born December 18, 1924 in Riverdale, MD he was the son of Martin I. Barr, Sr and Thelma B. (Henderson) Barr.
He was employed at Highland View Academy as the Director of Maintenance.
He was a member of the Willow Brook Seventh-Day Adventist Church of Boonsboro.
He is survived by his daughter Donna Jean Barr & husband Gary Hibberd, son Dennis Wayne Barr & wife Donette, daughter Ruth Darlene Milam & husband Glen Wesley, granddaughters Deonna Sawvel Rucker & husband Richard, Devonne Sawvel Cooper & husband Sean & Sidney Milam Torres & husband Mario, grandsons Don Sawvel & wife Adrian & Tyler Milam, great granddaughter Victoria Rucker, great grandsons Ian Rucker & Lucas Sawvel & brother George Daniel Barr.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
