Melvin Charles Keller, 85, of Waynesboro, Pa., passed away Friday, December 13, 2024, at Laural Lakes Rehab Center, Chambersburg, Pa.
Born December 5, 1939, in Boonsboro, MD, he was the son of the late Samual H.G. Heller and Nannie Rueanne Keller.
Melvin was retired from Roterex and Pangborn Corp.
He was an avid bird collector and was well known in the bird community.
Melvin is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patsy Ann Keller, 3 sons, Terry Keller and wife Mary of Shepherdstown, WV, Troy Keller and wife Stephanie of Martinsburg, WV, and Scott Crum and Wife Trudi of Waynesboro, PA, one daughter, Mary Ann Keller-Pile and husband Brandon of North Myrtle Beach SC, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Joanne Munday of Berkley Springs, WV, and Becky Butts of Hagerstown, MD, and 2 brothers, Jake Keller of Smithsburg, MD, and Donnie Keller of Hagerstown, MD.
In addition to his parents, Melvin was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Rosalie Spitzer and Lovelene Thompson and 3 brothers, Samual Keller, Richard Keller, and Robert Keller.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 11:00 am at Cavetown Church Cemetery, 22514 Cavetown Church Rd, Cavetown, MD. All friends and family and welcome to attend.
