Michael Joseph Flowers, Sr., 68, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Julia Manor Nursing Home, Hagerstown, MD, surrounded by loving family.
Born on January 20, 1958 in England, he was the son of the late Geraldine (Simpson) and Homer E. Flowers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Brothers, Robert and Dennis Flowers; and his Fur Baby, Boo Boo.
Michael graduated from Hancock High School, class of 1975.
Michael worked for over 30 years as a train conductor for CSX.
Michael attended Cedar Grove Mennonite Church, Greencastle, PA. He was also a member and part owner of Fin, Fur and Feather in Berkeley Springs, WV.
Michael loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing, and enjoyed playing Bingo.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Sharon K. (Spoonire) Flowers; Children, Timothy B. Scott and wife, Amy, of Hagerstown, MD, Shawn K. Scott and wife, Chastity, of Falling Waters, WV, Amy Scott of Hagerstown, MD, Michael Flowers, Jr., Melanie Flowers, and Amy Faircloth all of Hagerstown, MD; 8 Grandchildren, including his best friend Ashlynn, AKA, Turtle Bug; 6 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Kim Howell (Greg); and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
