Mildred "Millie" Lucille (Toms) Biser, 90, of Thurmont, MD, is now at home with the Lord, having entered His Glory on February 16, 2025. Born March 16, 1934, she was the daughter of Donald C. Toms and Rosella E. (Stackhouse) Toms. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Herbert "Herb" Hoover Biser. He was the love of her life.
Millie enjoyed playing golf alongside her husband, accumulating many trophies and accolades in the Frederick area. Loyal to her savior Jesus Christ, Millie attended Friends Creek Church of God for over 55 years. She served 29 years as a Sunday School teacher, while also holding posts as secretary and treasurer through the years. Blessed with a compassionate heart, Millie devoted time to volunteer for March of Dimes and the Mental Health Association. She frequently visited troubled teens at the Victor Cullen Center-supporting them by listening and letting them know they were not alone.
She is survived by her children; Paul Biser and wife, Jana; Millicent "Cindy" Biser and husband, Craig; Nancy Weishaar, and Shelly Dial. Also surviving are ten Grandchildren; Natalie Sockman, Jennifer Hill, Lee Cutchall, Amy King, Ian Lewis, Vincent Weishaar, Dylan King, Sarah and Samantha Biser, and Daniel Willumsen; and six Great Grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob Sockman, Genevieve Hill, Carly and Lucas Lewis, and Kaiden Spencer.
Millie is also survived by many beloved brothers and sisters in the church, among them her special friends Mary Lou and John Wetzel.
