Miles Edward Mummert

Miles Edward Mummert, 59, of Sharpsburg, MD, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021, at his home. Born September 27, 1962, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Ennis A. and Pamela L. (Price) Mummert. He was a graduate of Williamsport High School class of 1980. He was employed through the years by Moe’s Sunoco of Williamsport, Grove Manufacturing, Warren Electric, Rustoleum, Cardinal Transport and Mid State Trailer Repair contracted through Fed-Ex Ground. He enjoyed camping, water sking, hunting, motorcycles and loved parting with his friends. Miles is survived by brothers, Mark Mummert and Mitchell Mummert and wife Anna, sister, Melanie McCarty and husband Steven, companion, Maureen St. Clair, Canine companion, Rusty and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by sister-in-law, Lisa Mummert. The family wishes to extend its gratitude to Hospice nurse, Tina Warfield and Hospice Chaplain, Duane Musgrove for their support and love given to Miles. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at 11am at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 22 Cumberland St. Clear Spring, MD, with Rev. Steven McCarty officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
