Milford Lee Kershner

Milford Lee Kershner, 80, of Berryville, VA, and formerly of Smithsburg, MD, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Meritus Medical Center of Hagerstown, MD. Born Sunday, February 13, 1938 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Lee Kershner and Ruth Ada (Jones) Kershner. He attended South Hagerstown High School. He retired from Bertlesman Printing Group, formerly Doubleday, in 2000 after serving over 40 years. Milford is survived by his wife of 58 years, Doris B. (Deal) Kershner whom he married January 23, 1960, sons, Mike Kershner and Mark Kershner, grandchildren, Aubrey, Amanda, Sarah, Taryn and Jason and sister, Ruth Louise Sasse. A viewing will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 7-9pm at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD. Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
