Milton Arthur "Butch" Bloom, III

Milton Arthur “Butch” Bloom III, 73, of Leitersburg, MD, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Waynesboro Hospital. Born December 23, 1948, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Milton Arthur Bloom, Jr. and Ruth Marie (Knott) Bloom. He was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine (Weimer) Bloom. He was a graduate of North Hagerstown High School. Butch was a life member of the Leitersburg Volunteer Fire Company and a member of the Maryland Fire Chief Association. He is survived by two daughters, Sandra “Sandy” Kline and Sueanne Mongan and husband Kirk, three grandchildren, Travis Bloom and wife Allie, Kourteney Vaughn and husband Austin, and Konrad Mongan, one great-grandson, Vincent Bloom, one brother, Gerald “Jimmy” Boward and wife Christine and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Bloom and Gary Bloom. Services will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 10:00am at Ringgold Church of Christ, 14414 Barkdoll Rd. Hagerstown, MD, 21742, with Pastor Terry Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Leitersburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leitersburg Volunteer Fire Company, 21431 Leiter St. Hagerstown, MD, 21742. Arrangements were made by J.L.
