Norma J. Sprenkle, 87, of Waynesboro, PA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Menno Haven Memory Care, Chambersburg, PA.
Born November 1, 1936, in Smithsburg, MD, she was one of four daughters to the late Clarence Frey and Mae (Miller) Frey.
As a teenager she worked in the orchards in Smithsburg, MD.
She married her late husband, Stanley F. Sprenkle on March 20, 1960.
She worked at the lumber yard of Waynesboro, PA, for 25 years where she retired.
Norma worked with her late husband Stanley on Stans Sandwich truck serving customer in Waynesboro, PA.
She was a member of the Welty Church of the Brethren, Smithsburg, MD.
In addition to her parents and husband, Norma is preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Fogal, sisters, Virginia Talley of Sinton Texas, Eveylen Warner of Waynesboro, PA, and Fae Barnhart of Clear Spring, MD.
Norma is survived by her three grandchildren, Jeffrey Bryon (Naomi), Stephanie Bryon (Darnell), and Keona Fogle (Joey), four great-grandchildren, Hunter Green, Saniyah Johnson, Desmond Johnson, and Lucille Fogle, and two nephews, Wayne Barnhart and Tim Barnhart.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 18, 2023, at 11:00 am at Welty Church of the Brethren, Greensburg Rd, Smithsburg, MD, officiated by Reverend Mike Kenney. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, PA. Family will receive friends prior to service from 10:00-11:00 am at the church.
