Nancy Marian Manahan

Nancy Marian Manahan, 67, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Wednesday, July 26th, 2023, at her home.

Born on June 25th, 1956, in Waynesboro, PA and was a 1974 graduate of Catoctin High School.

She was predeceased in death by both of her parents, Donald Marion Manahan and Evelyn Ruth Warrenfeltz.

She is survived by 2 sisters: Brenda Sears, husband James, daughter Jessica; and Sandy Truax, husband Michael, 2 sons Adam and Benjamin, daughter Amanda and husband Nathan.

Nancy worked for over 40 years in the medical field as an RN and then a PA.

She retired in September of 2022, and was looking forward to settling down and enjoying retirement.

She enjoyed watching Hallmark, socializing with friends, sharing recipes, baking, canning, mushroom hunting and reading.

Graveside service will be private and at the convenience of the family.

The family invites you to make a contribution to the American Legion Post 211, 12 N. Westside Ave., Funkstown, MD 21734 in her honor rather than sending flowers.

To honor Nancy’s memory, the family is holding a Celebration of Life on Aug. 12th, American Legion, Funkstown, MD, from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. We invite those who knew her to attend and share memories and stories.
