PAULA KAY MCCALL

Paula Kay (Kipe) Ausherman-McCall passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 following a short illness at the age of 81 years.

Kay is survived by her husband, Thomas R. McCall; Her children, Kim Toms (Larry), Gene Ausherman (Tanya), Dawn Paitsel (JR), David McCall (Eva), Douglas McCall (Hollie) and Sara McCall; 9 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, and one on the way; One brother, Walter Michael Kipe (Kris); 1 Aunt, Bonita Huff; Cousin, John Huff and his son, Jack Huff.

Kay was born to parents Mary Lorraine (Hartle) and Harold Preston Kipe, Leitersburg on October 3, 1942.

She was predeceased by Grandparents, Beulah and Levi Hartle, and Mabel and James Kipe.

Kay graduated from North Hagerstown High School, class of 1960. She was a baptized and confirmed member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Leitersburg, where she was a choir member for over 60 years. She also served on council and various other teams within the church. She was also a member of the Leitersburg Fire Company Auxiliary.

A memorial service will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 at 11 AM at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 21513 Leitersburg-Smithsburg Rd., Hagerstown, MD 21742 with Pastor Mike Ross officiating. Interment will follow in Leitersburg Cemetery.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 21513 Leitersburg-Smithsburg Rd. Hagerstown, MD 21742.
