PAULINE L. (RIDENOUR) DELAUTER

Pauline Louise (Ridenour) Delauter, 95, of Sabillasville, MD, passed away peacefully Friday, April 4, 2025, at her home, surrounded by loving family.

Born on January 14, 1930, in Lantz, MD, she was the daughter of the late Pauline Edith (Lantz) and Clarence Brown Ridenour.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Edgar Earl Delauter; and a son, Steven Earl Delauter.

Pauline graduated from Thurmont High School, class of 1948.

Pauline was a Bus Driver for Frederick County Public Schools until she retired after 35 years of service. She also was a farmer with her husband.

Pauline was a member of Jacob's Church, Fairfield, PA, where she played the organist, and was a previous member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. She also was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Pauline enjoyed traveling with her friends, and she loved her chickens and her ducks.

She is survived by her Sons, Daniel Delauter of Thurmont, MD; David Delauter and wife, Donna of Sabillasville, MD; Laurean Delauter of Fairfield, PA; and Randolph Delauter and wife, Tina, of Sabillasville, MD; 10 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; Caregiver, Teena Hurley; numerous Nieces and Nephews, and her cat, "Oliver," and longtime friend Virginia Harbaugh.

A funeral service will be held Friday, April 11, 2025, at 11 AM at Jacob's Church, 495 Harbaugh Valley Rd. Fairfield, PA 17320 with Pastor Rich Daughtridge officiating. Interment will follow in Wellers Church Cemetery, Thurmont, MD.

Family will receive friends Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 6-8 PM at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD.
