PAULINE MARIA WETZEL

Pauline Maria Wetzel, 99, of Thurmont, MD, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at her home.

Born on January 2, 1926, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Edna (Kuhn) and Paul Lewis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Lester Maurice Wetzel; a daughter, Ruth Wetzel; Son, David Wetzel; and Siblings, Leonard Lewis, Calvin Lewis, Patricia McAfee, Shirley Runkles, Pat McAfee and Lillian Angel.

Pauline lived a long and healthy life. She loved gardening, quilting and babysitting.

She is survived by her Children, Sandra Green (James), Ray Wetzel (Charlean), Kevin Wetzel (Linda), and Laurie Wheeler (Mike); and several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
