Peggie Harrill Baron, 90, passed away peacefully Monday, October 14, 2024, at Doey's House, Hagerstown, MD.
Born October 26, 1933 in Pageland, SC, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Maude (Watts) Harrill.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Marvin Baron; her only sibling, Bobby Gene Harrill; and her Grandson, Robert Matthew Byrd.
She is survived by a Daughter, with whom she lived, Sandra Byrd Bledsoe (Colby) of Myersville, MD; Sons, Roger Lee Byrd (Linda) of Greencastle, PA and Russell Alan Gaytko of Pageland, SC; Grandchildren, Leah Bledsoe Sullivan (Dennis), Jeffrey Ronald Byrd, Laura Bledsoe (David), April Gaytko Honeycutt (Josh), Jonathan Lee Byrd (Simone) and Joey Gaytko; Great Grandchildren, Conor Byrd, Luca Byrd, Kurt Byrd, Noah Byrd, Sylvie Byrd, Emerson Sullivan, Cole Sullivan, Kayla Connor, Kinsey Connor and Gabriel Honeycutt.
A life long member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, she retired from the Department of Social Services of Chesterfield County, SC.
At Peggie's request, there will be no funeral or memorial service, and she will be privately interred beside her beloved husband, Marvin, in the cemetery at Providence Baptist Church in Pageland, SC, at the family's convenience. There she will wait for the second coming of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
