RANDALL ALAN MILLER

Randall “Randy” A. Miller passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, January 21, 2023. He was born on April 25, 1963, in Waynesboro, PA. He was the son of Harry “Buzz” Miller and the late Mary Jane Bittner (Miller) Spalding. He was a graduate of Catoctin High School Class of 1981. He was a lifelong dairy and beef cattle farmer. He was the owner of Har-Valley Dairy. For many years, Randy owned and operated Millers Firewood Business. Randy also raised goats. He will always be remembered as the “Gentle Giant” and “Hans, the Strongest Man in Sabillasville.” Randy married Olivia Green on October 5, 2019. Randy is survived by his wife, Olivia, sister Shelba Bollinger and her husband, David; Mother and Father-in-law, Ruth and Eric Green; Stepfather, Charles Spalding; sister-in-law Debra Miller, niece Amber Muller and her husband, Steven and son Levi Muller, niece Jessie Despeaux and her husband, John, and their children Lily and Clarabelle, niece Cayla Campbell and her husband, Jeremiah, and their children, Sydney and Eli. Randy was preceded in death by grandparents Lester and Mary Jane Bittner, Brother Douglas Miller, and first wife Diane (Spalding) Miller. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a viewing at J. L. Davis Funeral Home, 12525 Bradbury Ave, Smithsburg, MD 21783, on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, from 6 pm-8 pm. The burial will take place at the discretion of the family. In place of flowers, please send donations to the National Kidney Foundation.
