Ronald Lee Cox, Sr., 75, of Boonsboro, MD, passed away from this world on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Doey's House in Hagerstown, MD.
Born July 19, 1948, he was the son of the late Roy C. Cox and Alice M. Young.
In addition to his parents, Ronald is preceded in death by his brother, Richard Cox.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 30 years, Beverly Harshman, daughter, Rhonda Merrill (Shannon), son, Ronald L. Cox, Jr. (Dara), stepfather, Al "Boots" Young, sisters, Mary Lee Taylor, Dolly Lane, and Donna Bolinger (Mike), brothers, Roy "Jim" Cox and Robert Cox (Cathy), 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Ron worked for many years at Sharrett.
He played in many bands, such as: Cookie and the Echos, Cobra, and Chantage.
Ron was a good and kindhearted man and will surely be missed by many.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
