Ralph Henry Scruton, Jr.

Ralph Henry Scruton, Jr., 92, of Greencastle, PA, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021, at his home. Born July 27, 1929, in Mulhenberg, Twp., Berks Co., PA, he was the son of the late Ralph H. Scruton, Sr., and Viola Adela (Davis) Scruton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertie L. (Conrad) Scruton. Ralph attended Thurmont Catoctin High School. He was a member of Otterbein United Brethren Church of Greencastle and a life member of the NRA. Ralph retired from Mack Truck, Inc. of Hagerstown, MD. He was an avid case knife collector, hunter, trap shooter and golfer. Ralph is survived by two daughters, Katina Stine and husband Max and Kimberly Cline and husband Rodney, four grandchildren, Ronald Cotton, Tunya Witmer and husband John, Robert Cotton and Lisa Sull and husband Cole and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Herman D. Shook. Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by J.L.
