Reba Jeanette Miller

Reba Jeanette Miller, 96, of Smithsburg, MD, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at her home, surrounded by loving family.

Born on November 12, 1928 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Cora Maisie Miller.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her Brother, Charles Eugene Miller; and Nephew, Robert Earl Hoff.

Reba graduated from Smithsburg High School, class of 1946.

Reba held multiple positions in Retail, working for McCrory Stores in Waynesboro, PA, and most recently Dollar General in Smithsburg as an Assistant Manager for 30 years, until her retirement.

Reba was a lifetime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Smithsburg, MD, and attended New Life Christian Ministries in Hagerstown, MD.

Reba enjoyed canning fruits and vegetables, tending to her flowers and gardens, and taking care of her dogs, obtaining a kennel license for several years.

She is survived by her Son, Ricky E. Miller and wife, Carole, of Smithsburg, MD; Niece, Helen Gray Dempsey and husband, Raymond; Niece, Dora Kay Hoff and husband, Bruce Tremblay; and Great Niece, Victoria Unverzagt and husband, Timothy; and many Nieces and Nephews.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 11 AM at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, 12525 Bradbury Ave. Smithsburg, with Pastor Ken Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown, MD.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, May 20, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
