Renee Sue Toms

Renee Sue Toms, 63, of Falling Waters, WV, passed away, Saturday, November 1, 2025, at her home.

Born June 16, 1962, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Richard Aldine and N. Fae (Clever) Toms, Sr.

She was a 1980 graduate of North Hagerstown High School, and attended classes at Hagerstown Community College and Hagerstown Business College.

She was previously employed by Kmart Corporation and Gold Bond Ice Cream in Hagerstown, MD, and most recently owned and operated Brown Bag Gifts, a small gift shop specializing in crafts made from recycled materials. A keen artist all of her life, Renee was happiest when she was creating, whether sculpting with polymer clay or paper, drawing, painting, or any other medium she could get her hands on.

Renee is survived by two sisters, Teresa F. (Louis) Reid of Falling Waters, WV, Melissa A. (Michael) Minotti of Greencastle, PA, four brothers, Richard A. Toms, Jr., of Hagerstown, MD, Kerry C. Toms of Falling Waters, WV, Roderick M. Toms, Sr., of Falling Waters, WV, and Dennis B. (Jean) Toms of Roxbury, PA; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
