Richard Lee Turner

Richard Lee Turner, 42, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD. Born November 18, 1978, he was the son of the late Charles Harvey Turner and Mary Louise (Williams) Turner. He was a graduate of Washington County Technical High School class of 1997. He was employed by Dual Highway McDonald’s for 16 years and at Staples Distribution Center of Hagerstown for the last 2 years. He is survived by his companion, Virginia Curtis, sisters, Cindy Grimm, Mary St. Clair, Diane Knox, Susan Turner, Beverly Burker and Linda Fultz, brothers, Charles Turner, Jr., Joseph Turner, George Turner and Lester Turner and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by sisters, Pat Kauffman, Kitty Staley, and Mildred Turner. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 2:00pm at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Williamsport, MD, with Pastor Bobby Robinson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Richard Turner to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org or the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
