Ricky Lynn Dawson

Ricky Lynn Dawson, 68, of Greencastle, PA, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Julia Manor Nursing Home, Hagerstown, MD.

Born on August 17, 1956, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Ruth (Mongold) and Charles Dawson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Allen Dawson.

Ricky served in the U.S. Army where he also obtained his GED.

Ricky worked in Security, most recently at both Fannie Mae and T. Rowe Price.

Ricky was a member of Boonsboro American Legion, Post 10.

When Ricky was not working, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Cynthia Mae (Hutzell) Dawson; Son, Daniel Dawson of Ipsheim, Germany; Stepson, Brian Reese; Sister-in-law, Elaine Dawson; Brother in laws, Curtis Hutzell (Becky), Steven Hutzell (Mary), and Keith Hutzell; and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
