Robert Eugene Kayhoe, Sr.

Robert E. Kayhoe Sr., age 72 of Waynesboro, PA passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021 at his home with family by his side. He was born February 24, 1949 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Charles M. Kayhoe and Myrtle I. (Welsh) Kayhoe. He and his wife, Brenda (Reed) Kayhoe were married on July 30, 1969. He served in the Marines for two years. He was employed at Landis Tool Foundry for 38 years and also was employed by Walmart of Waynesboro and Kayhoe Roofing. He was a member of the VFW 695 of Waynesboro. He enjoyed hunting, yard work, riding motorcycles, mushroom hunting and being with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Reed) Kayhoe; two sons, Robert Kayhoe Jr. and his wife Jeanette of Orrtanna and Kevin Kayhoe of Waynesboro. Siblings; Diane Aughinbaugh and husband Rick, Glenda Green and husband Robert, Ronald Kayhoe and wife Kathy, Marvin Kayhoe and wife Geraldine and step-brother Charles Miller all of Waynesboro; seven grandchildren, Justin Clopper and his wife Terri of Waynesboro, Desirae Bywaters and her husband Rusty of Edgewater, MD, Connor Kayhoe of Orrtanna, Alexandra Ciamaichelo and her husband Christopher of Gettysburg, Braden Kayhoe, Kaiden Kayhoe and Landen Kayhoe of Chambersburg; two great-grandchildren; Bryson Bywaters of Edgewater MD and Gianni Ciamaichelo of Gettysburg and brother-in-law Dale Reed and wife Lisa of Highfield, MD. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Grandmother Pauline Kayhoe and sister Nancy Plank, an infant son Eric James Kayhoe and a grandson Nathanial Kayhoe.
