Robin Lynette (Lewis) Powell

Mrs. Robin Lynette (Lewis) Powell, 62, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2026, with her loving family by her side.

Born April 3, 1964 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Edward E. Lewis and the late Sandra J. (Kunkleman) Johnson.

Robin lived her early life in Waynesboro, PA, where she met and married her husband, Donald E. Powell, of Waynesboro, PA. They were blessed with a daughter, Amber Jo (Powell) Chasse, who proceeded Robin in death.

Robin worked many years in hospitality and healthcare. She loved taking care of people. Her life was a testament to love, laughter, and dedication to friends and family.

She was a gifted cook and cooking for family and friends was her deepest expression of love for them. Her gatherings were filled with great food, joy, many hugs, encouragement, and her wonderful endearing, unique sense of humor.

Robin was a true free spirit, with a style all her own. She loved fresh flowers, tie-dye fashion, and rock music. She was a naturally athletic swimmer, and enjoyed reminiscing about family vacations in Wildwood, NJ. She absolutely loved the annual July 4th barbecue, held in her sister, Valerie's backyard, celebrating with her closest friends and family.

In addition to her loving husband, Donald, Robin is survived by Granddaughters, Kloe A. Wilson and Kindre R. Wilson, who affectionately called her "Grammy." She is also survived by her Great Granddaughter, Jade Lovina Lare; Sisters, Crystal (Lewis) Zinn and Valerie Burton; Brother in Laws, Jeff Zinn and Christopher Hastings; Nieces and Nephews, Autumn, Erick, Brennan, Hayli, Gracie, Avi, Noah; and Great Niece and Nephews, Ana, Zeplin and Huxley.

A private gathering will take place at a later date to celebrate her life.
