Roger Lee Buhrman, 75, of Foxville, MD, passed away peacefully Friday, January 16, 2026 at Kline Hospice House, Mt. Airy, MD, surrounded by loving family.
Born on June 15, 1950 in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of the late Josephine (Hays) and Francis John Buhrman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 35 years, Dorinda "Susie" Buhrman; and Brother, Francis Michael Buhrman.
Roger graduated from Thurmont High School, class of 1968.
He served in the U.S. Army, being drafted during the Vietnam War and being stationed in Germany. He was discharged as a Specialist 4 for Battery A 2nd Battalion 39th Artillery.
Roger was employed by the Thurmont Shoe Company, Glen Bumbaughs Gas Station, Steel Suppliers of Hagerstown, NVR, and retired from Thurmont Structural Systems in 2012.
Roger was a member of Garfield United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, MD.
He is survived by his Son, David L. Buhrman of Sabillasville, MD; Step Daughter, Jessica Yeast and husband, Benjamin, of Elizabethtown, KY; Brothers, Jeffrey L. Buhrman and Johnny B. Buhrman; an Aunt; and numerous Cousins.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 2:30 PM at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. Hagerstown, MD 21742 with Pastor Al Deal officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour prior at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD.
